MISSION
SSC Tacloban Extension Service commits itself to provide the adopted communities and the different sectors of the college the opportunities to develop and enhance social and spiritual well-being through ORA et LABORA (pray and work) in all its outreach activities.
OBJECTIVES
To provide opportunities for Administrators, Faculty, Students, Staff and Maintenance Personnel to reach out and share their time, talents, material and spiritual blessings to the less-fortunate in the spirit of community volunteerism and Christian love.
Services
- Exposure to adopted areas
- Spiritual Formation (e.g. Catechism and values formation).
- Feeding Program
- Medical Mission
- Capital Assistance
Guidelines for the Outreach Activity
- All organizations are required to generate outreach activities throughout the year.
- The outreach Coordinator must coordinate all outreach activities with the Head of Students Affairs.
- Adopted Communities must be maintained by succeeding organization members.
- The Moderator and the officers of the organization are required to attend the Outreach Orientation.
COMMUNITY EXTENSION ACTIVITIES
Relief operation to typhoon victims of Odette in the parish of Fr. Gerald Tuazon in Southern Leyte last December 24, 2021.
