A true sense of oneself with one's gifts, talents, shortcoming, weaknesses and limitations. That is why it has often been said, humility is truth. Scholasticans are aware of themselves in relation to God, others and creation.

Community provides challenges and opportunities to know oneself better especially through the interactions with members of various and different personalities. Living and working close together.

Hospitality is opening your heart to the other; welcoming the other as Christ. Scholasticans extend a gracious and respectful welcome to schoolmates, friends and strangers.

Stability

Stability in a Benedictine school means that relationships are built based on trust, on appreciation and respect, on a kind of loyalty to common goals and shared values and experiences.

Discipline

No learning takes place without discipline. The discipline schedule free one to use one's energies on more important things, allowing for creativity as well as leisure.

Silence and Good Speech

Scholasticans meditate and reflect on matters that are of utmost importance. They speak gently and modesty, calmly and reasonable.

Service

In the Benedictine way, service is rendered as service to Christ. The attitude of service as an expression of love for Christ and others make it easier, satisfying, rewarding. Scholastican stand up in ready service for the welfare of others and defend the needs of the poor and downtrodden.

Stewardship

Benedictine stewardship is not just for poverty but a genuine care of all and wise use of material things. Care for the earth, respect for the environment and responsible use of material things are indispensable in our time when our carelessness.
